Exotická oáza v centru Ostravy, to jsou thajské masáže SEN SABAI
Každý z nás po práci rád relaxuje, někdo si vyjede na kole do přírody, jiný jde na drink a někdo si přečte pěknou knížku. My jsme požitkáři, rádi zkoušíme dobré jídlo anebo se necháme hýčkat ve wellness nebo na masáži. Vyzkoušeli jsme už spoustu salónů v Ostravě a okolí. K Vánocům jsme si nadělili poukaz na thajskou masáž, kterých je v Ostravě hned několik. Někteří z Vás nám dají jistě za pravdu, že thajská masáž je úplně něco jiného než klasická masáž, kterou známe. My jsme si samozřejmě vybrali podnik, ve kterém jsme ještě nebyli. Tentokrát padla karta na SEN SABAI, který má své sídlo v centru na Nemocniční ulici. Byli jsme překvapeni prostředím, ve kterém samotná masáž probíhá. Není to jen klasická masérna, ale solná jeskyně. Majitelkou tohoto salónu je Thajka. Vzhledem k tomu, že neumí česky, jsme jí nemohli ani vyzpovídat. Naštěstí byl přítomen i manžel, který je Čech, a tak jsme se nakonec pár zajímavosti dozvěděli.
Jak dlouho už provozujete tento salón?
Salón thajských masáží Sen Sabai oslavil v prosinci roku 2018 první výročí.
Koho to byl nápad otevřít v Ostravě salón s thajskými masážemi?
Byl to sen mé manželky Pranee. Má dlouholetou praxi v masírování a chtěla si otevřít salón podle svých představ. Já jsem byl také pro otevřít příjemné centrum s těmito masážemi. Když se nám podařilo najít vhodné prostory i se solnou jeskyní bylo rozhodnuto. Její nápad byl provádět masáže přímo v ní.
Masérky jsou Thajky nebo jsou zde zaměstnány i masérky jiné národnosti?
Ne, ne, masérky jsou rodilé Thajky i když se k nám dostávají informace, že nezaměstnáváme pouze Thajky, není tomu tak.
Jak dlouho se paní Pranee věnujete thajským masážím?
Před 10 lety vystudovala masérskou školu v Thajsku.
Od té doby se aktivně věnujimasírování, říká paní Pranee
Odkud z Thajska pochází Vaše žena a jak dlouho už v Česku žije.
Manželka pochází z thajského města Buriram. V České republice žije již 10 let.
To je docela překvapivé, proč se tedy paní Pranee ještě nenaučila česky?
Manželka hovoří kromě rodné řeči anglicky. Angličtinu používáme nejčastěji při naší vzájemné komunikaci. Český jazyk, především výslovnost, je pro ni velmi obtížný. Její schopnost porozumět je ovšem velmi dobrá.

Rád cestuji a na jednom mém poznávacím pobytu v Thajsku, jsme se s Pranee potkali.
Proč thajské masáže v solné jeskyni?
